Field recordings from western travels that I've finally sifted through.
The trip was largely funded by Kentucky Country Day school, where I teach. My friend and coworker Greg Korchnak and I traveled to Astoria over about a month in June of 2014. In the spirit of Lewis and Clark, we journaled about our expedition for our students. You can read of our adventures here: kbexpedition.weebly.com
I truly appreciate the opportunity and cherish the memories of the adventure.
Recorded locations: Ft. Pierre National Grassland, Badlands National Park, Bighorn National Forest, the Black Hills, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Gallatin National Forest, and Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest
